There are many different ways to support AIM Center including:
Annual
Gifts
Make your annual gift today and become a Friend of AIM
Center. Funds go directly to benefit programs and services of the AIM Center.
Donors’ names are published bi-annually in TARGET AIM, a newsletter for Friends
of AIM.
Honorary Gifts
Celebrate a birthday or
remember a special anniversary with a gift to AIM Center. The honoree will
receive a personalized letter acknowledging the gift in their name. This is a
thoughtful way to honor a special person and at the same time ensure that AIM
will be able to continue its programs for adults with mental
illness.
Memorial Gifts
Memorial Gifts are a special
way to honor the memory of a deceased family member or friend. The family of the
deceased will receive a personal letter acknowledging your gift.
Planned
Giving
Planned giving provides you with the options and
opportunities to include support of AIM Center in your overall financial and
estate plans. Planned gifts are generally gifts or commitments made in the
present with the benefit "deferred" until a future date. However, planned gifts
may include “now” gifts of such as, appreciated property (securities and real
estate), or gifts of tangible personal property.
Matching
Gifts
Your gift could be doubled! Ask your company
about their matching gift program
Volunteer
Opportunities
Your special gift of time! Please let us know if
you would like to be personally involved with our programs and gift the very
valuable gift of your time to support the AIM Center.
Planned Giving
There are just as many ways to support
the AIM Center as there are needs! The AIM Center has filled a void by providing
the only psychiatric rehabilitation program in Hamilton County. Your gift allows
the Center to continue to provide innovative, progressive services to members
with mental illness.
Planned gifts may be deferred and the
economic benefit for AIM Center realized sometime in the future.
Willis and Bequests:
The most common method of
deferred charitable giving is through a bequest in a person’s will. Your will
provides a unique opportunity to be sure that the fruits of a lifetime of effort
are distributed according to your wishes and in a manner consistent with your
interests during the course of your life.
There are several ways to make
gifts through wills including a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your
estate, residual estate goes to one or more charities or you may give specific
assets such as real estate, art collections or specific stocks and
bonds.
It is very important that the bequest language include the exact
legal name of the charity and its complete address. When including a bequest
provision in your will, always use the full legal name and provide the federal
taxpayer identification number. Our full, legal name is: “The A.I.M. Center, Inc” Our
federal tax identification number is: 58-1718368.
If you have already
included the AIM Center in your estate plans we hope that you will let us know
so that we can thank you for your generous intentions.
Life
Insurance Policies
Allow you to support AIM Center with a large gift
with small monthly premium payments.
Planned Gifts may also be “now”
gifts which benefit AIM Center immediately. Some of these gifts may
include
Stocks, bonds, or mutual funds
The gift of
common stock, bonds or mutual fund shares is a valuable way to make a
contribution to a charitable organization and receive tax benefits based on the
value of the asset.
Real estate
Depending on the
circumstances that are involved, gifts of real estate can be an effective means
of planning a gift. There can be significant advantages to using property as a
charitable gift. As with all matters concerning financial or estate planning,
please consult your estate and tax specialist.
Individual financial circumstances
vary. The information on this site does not constitute legal or tax advice. It
is highly recommended that donors consult with their own tax or legal advisors
prior to making a planned gift.
