The mission of the AIM Center is to provide psychiatric rehabilitation services
to promote community acceptance and reintegration. AIM serves persons 16 and
older with a lifetime membership to enable program participants to return to the
center whenever services are needed. Modeled after the certification standards
of the International Center for Clubhouse Development, the AIM Center provides a
clubhouse environment where members are empowered to participate in the ongoing
operations of the Center. The Term "member" has been selected because it is felt
to be a more enabling designation than patient or client. In addition, the term
represents ownership of an organization, which will continue to evolve and
change due to the membership’s involvement in decision-making.

empowered to manage their illness and pursue “individualized” goals for
education, employment, health, family life, and community integration to
ultimately become healthy, contributing members of society.
