A divorce halted Ellen’s creativity for many years. She began again tentatively, creating a deeply spiritual series of drawings that AIM staff and members were quick to recognize as profound and moving. Newly developed relationships led her to tutor her peers in education classes, which helped renew her sense of self-worth. The increased self confidence has led her to develop gallery representation once more. |

My Health, My Life, My Choice Grant Award
AIM Center was just awarded the My Health, My Life, My Choice grant contract to hire one Peer Wellness Coach for Mental Health Region III by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health!
The Peer Wellness Coach will provide the My Health, My Life, My Choice program throughout Region III to consumers with mental illness, substance abuse disorders and co-occurring disorders, which consists of coaching activities and coordinating the implementation of a six (6) session workshop.
AIM Center believes in Peer Support and are very much looking forward to partnering with Tennessee on this innovative project.
