Introduction to Computers: Learn the basics of computer function. Communicating: Access and use web-based email programs. Composition of personal and professional email is covered in detail. Introduction to the Internet: Navigate the Internet and access information. Advocacy and Recovery Using the Internet: Access online information about recovery and advocacy. Learn about online support groups and the benefits and risks of virtual communities.
Communicating Using the Internet: Learn about Web-based email programs for professional and person use, and safety and privacy issues. Career Connect: Conduct a successful web-based job search, including learning about commonly used websites, application and resume formatting and submitting, privacy issues, and local employer websites.
Independent Resources Through the Internet: Find housing and other resources using the Internet. |
